Fair Use Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Purpose

This Fair Use Policy explains how BeanFM protects the availability, security, and reliability of the Service for everyone. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Normal Use

BeanFM is designed for ordinary personal use of pet profiles, soundscapes, and playback sessions. What counts as normal use may vary by feature and may change as the Service evolves.

3. Excessive or Abusive Use

We may treat activity as excessive or abusive when it creates, or risks creating, unreasonable load, cost, security risk, or disruption for BeanFM or other users, or when it involves copying or extracting content or data from the Service beyond ordinary personal use, regardless of volume. Examples include:

  • using scripts, bots, or other automated tools to generate unusually high request volume;
  • repeatedly creating anonymous sessions, accounts, uploads, or playback requests to evade limits;
  • attempting to probe, disrupt, degrade, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
  • bypassing or attempting to bypass rate limits, access controls, or security measures;
  • accessing accounts, content, or systems without authorization;
  • deliberately scraping, harvesting, bulk downloading, or otherwise attempting to copy or extract our audio content library or any other content or data from the Service, whether manually or by automated means;
  • uploading malicious, infringing, or technically harmful files; or
  • using the Service in a way that materially exceeds ordinary usage and adversely affects performance, availability, or cost.

4. Enforcement

To protect the Service and its users, Huewis LLC may take action we reasonably consider appropriate, including:

  • rate limiting, throttling, or restricting specific features;
  • blocking requests, devices, networks, or traffic sources;
  • removing or disabling uploaded content;
  • temporarily suspending or permanently terminating access; and
  • investigating and reporting suspected unlawful activity where appropriate.

We may take these actions with or without notice, taking into account system capacity, security, risk, user impact, and the nature of the activity.
